A Christmas Celebration Inspired by Two Traditions
Christmas Eve holds special meaning in both Italian and Polish cultures. Known as Vigilia in Italian and Wigilia in Polish, the evening is traditionally celebrated by gathering with loved ones around the dinner table.
At 12 Tables, Polish head chef Piotr brings these traditions together through his interpretation of the Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes, incorporating seven seafood dishes across the holiday menu.
The result is a festive dining experience that celebrates family, cultural traditions, and the joy of sharing a holiday meal.
What’s on the Holiday Menu at 12 Tables?
The holiday experience begins with freshly baked focaccia served with truffle butter, followed by black tiger shrimp topped with Beluga caviar.
Guests can then choose from a selection of starters, including:
- Butternut squash soup with candied pumpkin seeds
- Burrata salad with seasonal greens and cherry-gooseberry compote
- Tiger shrimp and Hokkaido scallops in a creamy garlic and white wine sauce
- Beef tenderloin tataki with basil drizzle
- Salmon crudo topped with salmon roe
A refreshing house sorbet featuring winter berries and fresh mint is served between courses.
Main Courses Featuring Seafood, Pasta, and More
For the main course, guests can choose from four dishes:
- Saffron Lobster & Shrimp Tagliatelle: Lobster tail and tiger shrimp served with saffron cream.
- Homemade Gnocchi: Served with wild mushrooms and truffle sauce.
- Miso-Glazed Black Cod: Accompanied by grilled vegetables and potatoes.
- Tagliata di Filet Mignon: Sliced tenderloin with cabernet reduction, grilled vegetables, and potatoes.
