Toronto Country Fest 2026 Brings BBQ, Fair Food, and Country Entertainment to The Distillery District
The Distillery Historic District is turning into a downtown country destination this August with Toronto Country Fest 2026, a multi-week event featuring live music, barbecue, western activities, and a large food lineup.
Running from August 6 to August 23, 2026, the festival will combine country performances, outdoor activities, restaurant specials, and fair-style food throughout The Distillery District. Admission and many activities are free, including live music, line dancing lessons, mechanical bull riding, and other programming.

A Food Lineup Built Around BBQ and Summer Favourites
Food is one of the main attractions at Toronto Country Fest, with participating restaurants and vendors offering special menus throughout the festival.
Guests can enjoy everything from smoked meats and Southern-style dishes to desserts, drinks, and fair-inspired snacks.

Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie
Cluny Bistro will offer a 50 oz Dry-Aged Black Angus Cowboy Tomahawk Ribeye served with grilled corn, roasted pepper salad, and red-eye gravy.
Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill
Pure Spirits will serve Traditional Crawfish Gumbo with steamed rice, bringing Cajun flavours to the festival menu.
El Catrin Destileria
El Catrin will feature the Montado Chihuas, combining Chihuahua cheese, carne asada, bone marrow, smoky chorizo beans, and salsa tatemada inside a flour tortilla.
Courtyard BBQ Brings Smokehouse Favourites

The Distillery District Courtyard Saloon will feature an outdoor BBQ and smoker setup with festival favourites, including:

Pepper Palace and IZUMI Add More Flavour

Pepper Palace will host weekend hot sauce tastings, allowing visitors to sample different spice levels and purchase their favourites.
IZUMI, Ontario’s first sake brewery, will also join the festival with a limited-edition barrel-aged sake served in a mini barrel cup. The sake is aged in rye whisky barrels from Spirit of York, another Distillery District tenant.
Country Music, Line Dancing, and Free Activities

Toronto Country Fest will offer daily entertainment across The Distillery District.
Programming includes:
- Free live country music daily from 1–4 PM and 5–8 PM
- Free line dancing lessons on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6–8 PM
- Free mechanical bull riding
- Nashville Nights DJ sets every Friday and Saturday from 8:30–10:30 PM
- Family activities and games
- Western-themed photo installations
- Artisan vendors and local makers
Guests can also visit themed photo areas featuring sunflower displays, oversized guitars, cowboy-style installations, and the “Fill Yer Boots” setup.
