BFF Burgers Liberty Village Toronto Location Opening Soon
BFF Burgers Liberty Village Toronto is officially happening. The Ottawa-based burger joint is expanding again, this time into one of Toronto’s busiest neighbourhoods. Set to open at 49 East Liberty Street, this will be BFF’s second Toronto location, taking over the site once marked for Montreal’s Boustan shawarma shop.
Boustan had originally announced the downtown Toronto location back in 2023, but despite signs going up, the restaurant never opened. More than a year later, BFF has stepped in to transform the space, and fans are already hungry for the launch.
A New Burger Favourit in Liberty Village
Known for bold burgers, halal-friendly options, and creative loaded fries, BFF has built a strong following since arriving in Toronto in 2018. Its first downtown location on John Street still draws regulars with its colourful aesthetic and nostalgic diner vibe.
Now, the brand is getting ready to serve even more customers in Liberty Village. With thousands of residents and daily foot traffic from nearby event venues like BMO Field, the location makes perfect sense. On social media, BFF teased that the opening could happen “within the next two weeks,” responding to eager fans asking for updates.
