Blue October to Release Storytelling on Vinyl and DVD This November
Blue October is opening its archives to fans with Storytelling, an intimate acoustic performance that will arrive on vinyl and DVD for the first time on November 6.
The 2021 recording gives listeners a closer look at the band’s songwriting through a stripped-down set hosted by MTV personality Matt Pinfield.
The release comes as the group marks 20 years of its landmark album Foiled with an extensive world tour across North America.

Blue October’s Acoustic Side
Recorded in June 2021, Storytelling puts the focus on emotion, songwriting, and the distinctive sound that has shaped Blue October’s career.
Without the larger production of a standard concert, the performance gives the songs a more direct and personal setting.
Pinfield shared, “It was an absolute honor to be a part of Blue October’s emotional, intimate performance of these powerful, revealing songs. It was an incredible night.”
The archival project features 14 performances. Fans can hear new versions of “Hate Me,” “Into the Ocean,” and “I Hope You’re Happy,” alongside “All That We Are” and “The Weatherman.”
