  • Where: Participating McDonald’s locations across Toronto and Canada
  • What: Six international items from Japan, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the UK, and Australia

What’s on the McDonald’s international Menu in Canada?

Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich (Japan)

This sandwich features a crispy chicken fillet coated in teriyaki sauce, accompanied by shredded lettuce and mayonnaise, all inside a sesame seed bun.

The teriyaki glaze leans sweet but doesn’t overpower the savoury crunch of the chicken. The result is something more balanced than many of the chain’s other chicken sandwiches.

Order this if: You usually go for a McChicken but want more depth of flavour.

Big Rösti (Germany)

A beef patty sits under layers of smoky bacon, processed cheese, cheese sauce, and a crispy Rösti-style potato patty. The bun is topped with oats for texture.

This one’s heavy, rich, and probably not something you’ll finish quickly. It’s not a light option, but it hits the mark for anyone after a filling, slightly over-the-top burger.

Order this if: You treat fries like a burger topping.

McPizza Bites (Italy)

McPizza is no longer just a Canadian memory. These bites are small dough pockets filled with mozzarella and tomato sauce, baked until golden.

While they’re closer to pizza rolls than pizza slices, they offer a quick, warm snack that’s easy to split with a friend or pair with dipping sauces.

Order this if: You’re curious about the return of McPizza in any form.

Biscoff® McFlurry (Belgium)

A vanilla soft-serve base swirled with crushed Lotus Biscoff® cookies, this dessert leans into warm spice and crunch instead of over-the-top sweetness.

For those who don’t usually finish McFlurries because they’re too sugary, this version might change your mind. It’s restrained but still dessert-forward.

Order this if: You prefer cinnamon or caramel notes over chocolate.

Garlic Mayo-Style Sauce (UK)

This is a creamy garlic dipping sauce that works well with fries, chicken nuggets, and pizza bites.

It’s smooth, mildly tangy, and garlic-forward without being overwhelming. It feels more like a fast-food nod to garlic aioli than a standard dipping packet.

Order this if: You’re tired of the same ketchup-ranch-barbecue rotation.

Sweet Tangy Chili Sauce (Australia)

This sweet chili dip starts on the sugary side, then finishes with mild heat. It’s a smart match for anything crispy—especially chicken-based items.

Unlike some other McDonald’s sauces, this one actually adds flavour complexity rather than just sweetness.

Order this if: You like heat but don’t want anything too aggressive.

If you want to try the International Menu Heist, hurry up! These items will be available for just over a month, and McDonald’s hasn’t confirmed if or when they’ll come back.
