Taste of North York Is BACK & Better Than Ever

Get ready to mark your calendars because the Taste of North York festival is returning to Toronto from September 6th to 8th, and it’s going to be bigger and tastier than ever! This three-day cultural extravaganza is a celebration of everything that makes North York such a vibrant and diverse community.

What’s on the Menu?

  • Meet & Eat – Head over to Mel Lastman Square for a delightful mix of food, community connection, and family fun.
    • Enjoy a delicious Community Meal on Friday, September 6th, at 7 pm, followed by a lively Mariachi Band and a Latin dance class.
    • On Saturday and Sunday, meet and mingle with representatives from over 20 local organizations while the kids enjoy activities like robotics, lego building, and aerial hammocks.
    • Test your knowledge with trivia, get your portrait drawn by a caricaturist, and let the little ones enjoy face painting.
  • Eat Your Heart Out – Explore an open-air street food market featuring a mouthwatering array of cuisines from around the world. With free admission, you can sample dishes from all corners of North York without breaking the bank!
  • Be Entertained – The main stage will be rocking all weekend long with live music, dance performances, and cultural showcases.
    • Don’t miss the special performance by Canada’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer Magician Mark Lewis on Saturday, September 7th, at 7:30 pm, followed by the Persian Band Milad J!
    • Experience the rhythm and energy of Persian, Korean, Chinese, Indian, Ukrainian and Latin dancers and musicians.
  • Explore and Connect – This festival is all about celebrating community. Meet your neighbours, learn about local organizations, and discover the hidden gems of North York.
