Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7! Finally, St. Clair Avenue West is transforming into the ultimate salsa dance floor for a weekend of non-stop Latino vibes!
This year marks the 20th anniversary of this iconic festival, which has grown from a local event in 2005 to a nationally recognized celebration of Latino culture. Over 350 performers from across Canada and beyond will join this street festival.
Everyone will experience live music, vibrant dance performances, and mouth-watering Latin American cuisine. The calendar of events also includes art exhibitions and visual art events.
This much-awaited festival will feature incredible performances by artists like Adis Rodriguez, Latin Energy, and the Latin Swing Orchestra. The audience can also meet the fantastic Salsa festival ambassadors Camila Gonzalez, Ivan Wanis Ruiz, and Renzo Garcia.
The streets come alive with the Latino beats as dancers of all skill levels show off their moves. Seasoned salsa dancer or not, just groove to the infectious beats. And it’s not just about the dancing. You see, the festival also features a bustling marketplace filled with authentic Latin foods, artisan crafts, and fun activities for the whole family.
The TLN Fiesta Parade is one of the highlights, bringing a burst of color and energy for an ultimate Latin American fiesta.
Furthermore, this year’s festival offers free Latin dance lessons at different schools in Southern Ontario. This means participants all around the world can learn dance moves from the pros.
