Randy Bachman is more than just a Canadian rock legend; he’s a master storyteller. With a career that spans decades and hits that defined an era, his stories of life in the fast lane with The Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive are filled with humour, heart, and a bit of mystery. In Takin’ Care of Business, director Tyler Measom brings those stories to life in a fast-paced, fun documentary, set to make its world premiere at TIFF 2024.
The Story Behind the Legend
Bachman’s journey is packed with incredible highs and some seriously unexpected twists. From chart-topping fame with hits like “American Woman” and “Takin’ Care of Business” to his unique path as a musician who married into the Mormon faith, the film dives deep into the rock star’s personal and professional life.
