A Not-So-Happy Meal
Wendy’s is teaming up with Netflix’s Wednesday for a limited-time collab that leans into the dark, dry humour of everyone’s favourite Addams. Launching August 11 in Canada, this campaign brings Wednesday Addams’ signature mood to the fast-food world, just in time for the season 2 Part 1 premiere of Wednesday on Netflix August 6th. With mystery elements built into each order, fans are invited to embrace fate and see what surprises await.
What You Can Get In The Meal of Misfortune
Designed by Wednesday herself, this meal skips cheer and dives into the dramatic. It includes:
- “Rest in 10-Piece” Nuggets
- Small “Cursed & Crispy” Fries
- Small “Raven’s Blood” Frosty®, a dark cherry dessert made with 100% Canadian dairy
- Two “Dips of Dread” mysterious sauces chosen at random
“Wendy’s and Wednesday are both cultural icons famous for challenging convention with wit and a bit of sass,” said Liz Geraghty, International Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company. “This isn’t a typical collaboration, because not just any brand could scheme up a Meal of Misfortune with Wednesday Addams. Each Meal of Misfortune comes with two randomly selected dipping sauces from a lineup of four:

- Nowhere to Woe
