Unmissable Art Installations
The Yorkville Murals 2024 goes beyond traditional murals, incorporating an array of awe-inspiring art installations that blur the lines between art, architecture, and imagination.
New Murals
Four new murals will debut at the festival. Among them, Dahae Song’s “BEING ONE” at the Four Seasons Hotel, uses shades of blue to evoke the spirit of Earth, blending air, light, and water into a harmonious visual art.
Greg Mike, the Atlanta-based artist behind the famous “Larry Loudmouf,” will be painting live at 99 Yorkville Ave, creating a dynamic piece filled with his signature bright colors and bold lines.
Art in the TTC
The abandoned Lower Bay TTC Platform will open to the public and be transformed into an enchanting space by artists Trever Wheatley and Cosmo Dean.
Their installation features a majestic mirrored chandelier suspended from the ceiling, with tiny petals cascading down, creating the illusion of a wilting flower.
Bubble Mania: Inflatable Art Interventions
Toronto-based artist Adam the Illustrator brings his playful and colorful style to the streets, touching on mental health and friendship.
After showcasing her large-scale artwork across the USA, Michelle Hoogveld returns to her hometown. Her vibrant inflatables celebrate the diversity of human experience, exploring themes of love, connection, and self-discovery.
Shipping Container Art Installation
Vancouver-based artist FVCKRENDER will wow audiences with an immersive art installation housed inside a shipping container. Known for his futuristic digital creations, FVCKRENDER will bring his unique vision to Yorkville, blending physical and digital art in a space designed to challenge and inspire.
