New Constellations Are Bringing the It Comes In Waves Tour to Toronto This November
Portland indie-pop duo New Constellations are heading to Toronto this fall with a stop at The Opera House on November 3. The date lands in the middle of the duo’s 2026 North American run supporting their debut album, It Comes In Waves.

The Toronto show also arrives just days before New Constellations appear on a new Neil Young tribute record. Their take on “Unknown Legend” is set for Heart of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young, Vol. 3 – Into the Black, due November 6.
Toronto listeners may already know the duo through singles such as “Hot Blooded,” “I Disappear,” “Secret Safe” and “Dandelion.” The Queen Street East date brings that material together during the band’s first full album cycle.

Toronto gets a stop on the It Comes In Waves Tour
New Constellations will play The Opera House at 735 Queen St. E. on Tuesday, November 3. Ticketmaster lists the event as all ages, with doors at 7 p.m. and the show scheduled for 8 p.m.
The Toronto date follows a run through major U.S. markets, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Chicago and Milwaukee. After Toronto, the duo heads to Montreal on November 4. The route then continues through Philadelphia, New York, Washington and several other cities before western Canadian and U.S. dates in December.
The tour adds another Canadian stop in Vancouver on December 2 at Fortune Sound Club. The Toronto date, however, is the first Canadian show listed on the fall leg after the U.S. run.
The debut album arrived in May
It Comes In Waves was released on May 15 through Nettwerk. The 13-track album centres on shifting relationships, self-doubt, growth and starting over, with the duo moving between synth-led indie pop and softer alternative textures.
Several songs that helped build the band’s audience appear on the record. They include “Hot Blooded,” “I Disappear,” “Say That You Will,” “Secret Safe” and “Dandelion.” The album gives those earlier releases a wider frame and adds newer material from Case and Smith’s current writing period.
New Constellations are made up of lifelong friends Harlee Case and Josh Smith. Nettwerk describes the project as a collaboration rooted in a friendship that stretches back well before the band’s current run. Their 2026 schedule has also included a support tour with The Midnight and a Lollapalooza appearance, according to the band’s press materials.
A Neil Young cover follows the Toronto concert
Three days after the Toronto show, New Constellations are scheduled to appear on Heart of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young, Vol. 3 – Into the Black. The compilation is set for release on November 6 and supports The Bridge School.
New Constellations close the 12-track collection with “Unknown Legend.” Other contributors include King Princess with “Helpless” and Ben Gibbard with “Don’t Cry No Tears.” MJ Lenderman takes on “Separate Ways,” while Cold War Kids perform “Tonight’s the Night.” Kurt Vile and The Violators and Devendra Banhart also appear on the record.
The project places the duo alongside artists from indie rock, folk and alternative music. It also gives the Toronto concert extra timing significance: fans can see the band live on Tuesday, then hear their Neil Young contribution later that same week.
Planning for the Toronto show
Tickets for New Constellations at The Opera House are listed through Ticketmaster. The public event page confirms the date, venue, all-ages entry and timing, but ticket prices can change with available inventory.
Fans heading to the show can plan around a 7 p.m. door time and an 8 p.m. start. The Opera House is located on Queen Street East in Toronto’s Riverside area.
New Constellations play The Opera House on November 3, followed by the release of their Neil Young cover on November 6. For anyone tracking the band’s first full album cycle, both dates land within the same week.
