AC/DC Announces 2025 North American Power Up Tour
Legendary rock band AC/DC has revealed plans for their highly anticipated Power Up Tour in 2025. This marks their first North American stadium tour in nine years, featuring 13 stops across the U.S. and Canada. Fans can look forward to experiencing the band’s electrifying energy and timeless hits live in iconic venues.
A Special Stop in Canada
The tour kicks off on April 10, 2025, in Minneapolis and continues through May 28 in Cleveland. For Canadian fans, Vancouver’s BC Place is the only Canadian stop on the itinerary, set for April 22, 2025. This rare opportunity to catch AC/DC on home soil is sure to make it a highlight of the year.
The Lineup: Familiar Faces and New Talent
The current lineup includes:
- Brian Johnson on vocals, marking his return after recovering from hearing issues.
- Angus Young, the founding member, and lead guitarist.
- Stevie Young, rhythm guitarist, who joined in 2014 to replace his uncle, Malcolm Young.
- Matt Laug, the band’s drummer since 2023.
- Chris Chaney, the newest bassist, replacing Cliff Williams.
Powering Up for the Tour
The tour supports AC/DC’s 2020 album, Power Up, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and received Grammy nominations. Songs like “Realize” and “Shot in the Dark” are expected to feature alongside classic hits like “Back in Black” and “Thunderstruck.”
