GRETA Toronto Brings Its Iconic Smash Burger to Le Burger Week 2026
Toronto burger lovers have another reason to make their way to King Street West this September as GRETA Toronto joins Le Burger Week 2026, serving up its iconic GRETA Smash Burger during the weeklong celebration.
From September 1 to 7, 2026, Le Burger Week will bring together participating restaurants across Canada for a nationwide celebration of creative and original burgers. The public is invited to discover participating creations, try their favourites, and vote and share the burgers they think deserve the spotlight.
For Toronto foodies looking to add a new burger stop to their September plans, GRETA Toronto will be participating in this year’s festival with its GRETA Smash Burger. The submission gives diners another opportunity to experience the Toronto arcade bar’s burger offering while taking part in one of Canada’s largest burger-focused food events.
GRETA Toronto Joins the Burger Week Celebration
Le Burger Week describes itself as a 100 percent Canadian food festival dedicated to creative and original burgers. Since launching in 2012, the event has grown into a nationwide celebration, with the festival reporting approximately 500,000 yearly participants and more than 1,500 restaurants across Canada.
The 2026 edition will take place directly at participating restaurants from September 1 through September 7, giving diners a full week to explore burger creations in their cities. Participating restaurants determine their own service hours and whether their festival burger is available for dine-in or takeout.
For GRETA, the festival is a natural fit for its food and entertainment concept. Located at 590 King St. W. in Toronto, GRETA combines street food, cocktails, and more than 50 arcade games, creating a setting that goes beyond a traditional restaurant experience.
A Burger Stop With an Arcade Bar Twist
GRETA Toronto’s current food menu features globally inspired street food alongside burgers and other shareable dishes. Its menu currently lists The GRETA Burger, made with double Wagyu beef, American cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and fancy sauce.
For Le Burger Week 2026, however, the restaurant is putting its GRETA Smash Burger forward as its festival submission. Burger fans can visit GRETA during the September 1–7 festival window to experience the restaurant’s entry as part of the national celebration.
The combination of burgers and arcade entertainment also makes GRETA an option for groups looking to turn a food outing into a full night out. The Toronto location offers more than 50 arcade games, including classics and large-format games, alongside its street food menu and bar program.

More Than Just a Burger
Le Burger Week also incorporates a charitable component into the festival. According to the official festival FAQ, participating restaurants donate $1 for every burger sold to Food Banks Canada, supporting efforts to address food insecurity across the country.
The festival’s official website currently reports more than 1,500 participating restaurants across Canada and highlights its $1-per-burger donation initiative.
That means Toronto diners can take part in the city’s burger culture while also contributing to a nationwide food-focused charitable initiative, one burger at a time.
