Taylor Swift Way Route Details

The route features 22 “Taylor Swift Way” street signs and stretches from Nathan Phillips Square to the Rogers Centre. Swift performs here on November 14–16 and November 21–23. The path includes Queen Street West, John Street, Front Street, and Blue Jays Way—a perfect spot for photos.

At the unveiling, Mayor Olivia Chow shared her excitement. “We are honoured to welcome Taylor Swift to Toronto for nearly a fortnight of music and magic,” she said. “We hope fans enjoy their walk down ‘Taylor Swift Way’ and support the auction of these signs, each a keepsake for a great cause.”

Chow was joined by Deputy Mayors Jennifer McKelvie and Ausma Malik, Daily Bread Food Bank CEO Neil Hetherington, and Rogers Communications representatives outside the Rogers Centre.

Auction for a Good Cause

After Swift’s last show on November 23, the city will donate the signs to Daily Bread Food Bank. An auction will raise funds to combat food insecurity.

Rogers Communications will match auction proceeds up to $113,000 in honour of Swift’s lucky number, 13. The auction began on November 4 and runs until November 10 for the first batch. Five more signs will be released each Monday this month.

Enhanced Transit and Infrastructure for Concert-Goers

Toronto is gearing up for an influx of Swift fans, with an estimated economic impact of over $250 million expected from visitors attending the concerts. In response, Metrolinx has announced increased rail service across several GO Transit lines, including the Lakeshore West, Lakeshore East, Milton, Kitchener, Barrie, and Stouffville routes, to accommodate the anticipated crowds.

Additionally, the city has implemented a Limited Activity Zone downtown to help manage traffic during Swift’s concerts. Rogers has upgraded the Rogers Centre’s 5G network to ensure a seamless experience for fans who will be capturing every moment of the show.

This month-long tribute not only showcases Toronto’s enthusiasm for Swift’s tour but also supports a meaningful cause, allowing fans to take home a piece of “Taylor Swift Way” and contribute to the community. The signs may come down in December, but for lucky auction winners, a bit of Toronto’s Taylor Swift legacy will be theirs to keep.
