Jackpot City Casino Brings Back Free Toronto Cab Campaign With Weekly Cash Prizes
Toronto commuters can once again enjoy free rides across the city as Jackpot City Casino’s Free Cab Campaign returns for a third summer.
Starting Saturday, August 1, 2026, seven purple-wrapped Co-op Cabs marked “Free Taxi” will return to Toronto streets, offering complimentary rides anywhere in the city while giving passengers a chance to win weekly cash prizes.
The campaign combines everyday transportation with a surprise reward, turning regular cab rides into unexpected moments for Toronto riders.
Free Rides Return Across Toronto
Following two successful summers, Jackpot City Casino is bringing back its free cab initiative after providing more than 5,600 rides and $43,000 in prize money to riders across the city.
This year, passengers can spot the recognizable purple vehicles featuring digital taxi tops and “Free Taxi” branding throughout Toronto.
Riders can simply hop into one of the campaign cabs and enjoy a complimentary trip anywhere in the city.
Weekly Cash Prizes Increase Throughout August
Along with free transportation, the campaign will feature weekly cash giveaways for selected riders.
Each week, one passenger will receive a surprise cash prize, with the amounts increasing as the campaign continues:
- Week One: $3,000
- Week Two: $5,000
- Week Three: $12,000
- Final Week: $30,000 grand prize
The campaign will continue until Monday, August 31, 2026, when one final rider will have the chance to leave with the largest prize of the summer.
Turning Everyday Rides Into Surprises
Jackpot City Casino says the campaign is designed to bring unexpected moments to Toronto residents throughout the summer.
