A popular Ontario barbecue festival is returning later this month with more than 20 restaurants serving smoky favourites in the heart of Elora. Elora’s Longest BBQ is back on Tuesday, July 28, for another evening of great food, drinks, and local flavours.

After attracting more than 12,000 visitors in 2025, this year’s festival is returning with an even bigger lineup. If you’re looking for a summer road trip, this event is worth adding to your list.

Elora’s Longest BBQ takes place on Tuesday, July 28, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The festival takes over West Mill Street in downtown Elora and is open to all ages.

Admission is free, and visitors can also purchase food and drink token packages through the event website.

20+ Restaurants Are Joining This Year’s Festival

More than 20 local and visiting restaurants will be serving barbecue-inspired dishes throughout the evening. Guests can also enjoy craft beer, cocktails, and other drinks from participating beverage partners.

Some of this year’s featured vendors include Bardo, Elora Brewing Company, Elora Distilling Company, Handsome Devil Bistro, Dar’s Country Market, Cowbell Brewing Co., Steam Whistle, Odd Duck, Ted Reader BBQ, and South Fire from Vancouver Island.

A Record-Breaking Event Returns

Last year’s festival welcomed more than 12,000 visitors, making it one of Elora’s biggest annual events. Organizers are expanding this year’s lineup with even more restaurant and drink partners.

The event has quickly become one of the village’s most anticipated summer celebrations.

Elora is known for its charming downtown, scenic views, and growing food scene. While you’re visiting, you can also explore the Elora Gorge, cool off at the Elora Quarry, relax at the Elora Mill Spa, or stop by the village’s local shops and restaurants.
